Drum Wall
The Drum Wall was the backdrop for The House of Dancing Water, inside Franco Dragone's exceptional aquatic theatre in Macau. The design consists of a series of large format prints on special fabric to create an hemispheric illuminated theatre backdrop. The circumference of the whole set is Ø 260m for 8m high. The complete set has 52 pieces to create the illusion of a bamboo structure that can be retro-lit and support projections. Fun fact: the artwork was first handmade on paper, then resized and calibrated for print on fabric on the computer.
